Does anyone have one. DH has been seduced by the hype and feels we MUST have one for the boys for Xmas. They havent asked for one (dont watch adverts-luckily) and to me it looks like a five minute wonder.
What think you oh wise ones?

Well, if the Tonight programme is anything to go by - see if you can nip to Canada for one! A lot cheaper in Toronto than on Oxford St!

Don't see the point myself!

SueW · 07/12/2004 15:40

Also don't see the point. There was an article in the paper about it yesterday and it didn't look very exciting to me.

They look gross to me! Ds wants one too and I've said no way. It'll be a novelty for 5 minutes and then get chucked in a corner and for £80 or whatever they are, no thanks.

JanH · 07/12/2004 16:51

Well, there was a cool laidback guy demonstrating one in an alluring sort of way in the doorway of a shop in Leeds on Saturday and they are very clever, its moves are incredible, I don't know how long he'd had to practise to make it that good. I was absorbed for a good 5 minutes, then saw the price and moved on! Agree with WWW - £80 is just silly.

(A lot more fun than a remote control car though and some of those cost more than that. If they were half the price I would consider getting one!)
