i have decided i want one as i have joined the gym, but dont have a clue about them.

how do you get the music on to them?
do you have to pay for the music?
what if you already ahve the music in your collection, do you have to buy it again?

how hard is it to put the music on them?
any advice greatly appreciated

If you have music on cds you can put it onto your ipod through your computer. You can buy songs and audiobooks from I tunes either using a credit card or a Itunes voucher you can buy practically anywhere. There are also tons of podcasts you can download for free - lots of Radio programmes (including The Archers).

It's easy peasy. Just go to the Itunes Store and have play. I'll find you a link.

Hi i have an ipod nano and i love it, you basically plug the ipod into your pc using the usb supplied and it will download all of the software. I have set mine so that as soon as i plug it in it updates with any music i have added to my computer. I rarely use itunes though as it is more expensive. I mainly copy from my cds.

you need to download itunes and you download your music to your ipod from there. You can put all your existing cds onto itiunes and transfer them over (leaving the inevitable crappy songs!)
a single is about 79p, tis v easy to use.

In fact, the hardest part is choosing which ipod

from itunes to ipod?

no, you connect your ipod via usb to your pc and it comes up on the menu on the left, just find the tune you want from your library and "slide" it over...done

takes only a minute longer to download it from itunes store then transfer
