Just had my new Maclaren buggy delivered and really disappointed...

For £75 I expected a bit more really (it's a 'Triumph' by the way, or not as the case may be!). It doesn't recline to flat and when it's upright the seat is too laid back and DS looks really slumped and uncomfortable. I'm going to send it back, but what do I change it for...??

I think the Maclaren Techno XT is a much better buy and is not a great deal more expensive I don't think??

is the triumph not for 6 months +? No need for lie flat if thats the case.

We were going to get a maclaren for DC3(due march) but after looking at them in RL hated everything about them!

How old is your DS?

castille · 11/02/2008 14:19

A Techno?

It reclines flat, when upright the seat is very upright, and there are various intermediate positions

Might be more expensive than a Triumph though

my friend has this and it's great, it's in the sale at the moment too.

Suitable from 3 months apparently. But it's still handy if they can recline to have a sleep in whatever age. The main thing is the seat isn't upright enough which is crap! DS is 17mths but as he is 2nd child the current buggy is quite worn out - this one won't be used that long. a Techno seems a bit too extravagant!

I love the Techno XT.
Use it all the time, definitely had my money's worth from it.

I agree Ming we got ours when our son was 6 months old and he is now 3 and we still use it the wheels are much more sturdy will last a long time.
