BTW I am not a pram-o-holic so don't know the lingo

My Mclaren triumph (sp) broke last week.
dd is 2 and a half. Still need a buggy as we walk ds to school and back most days.
Plus we're going away tomorrow and need to take a buggy with us.

I like the Quinny Zapp , dd loved it too when she had a ride in Toys R us but it costs ££££££'s. We Like the Toys r us Version too.

Is there anything similar and cheap!!??

Thanks

Not sure if there is anything similar but I have a zapp for my one year old and its great, very light and v small when folded up. Have you tried ebay? i bought mine from there, a new one so it was still £££ but about £100 i think incl postage.. or there are some second hand ones which look as good as new if you are not bothered about having brand new?

I haven't tried ebay. Need it before tomorrow really.
I really like the Zapp - it looks very cool! But it doesn't recline, I know dd is older but I'm hoping to still have it for the next baby. Plus it had no rainhood etc.
Thanks though.

Ah yes, not really suitable for a smaller baby! We have an M&P pliko pramette which was very kindly bought for us when ds was born (first grandchild= spoilt!) which we use for long walks, when travelling etc for the recline option but I have a ridiculously small size boot so i had to invest in a stroller for "around town" although having said that ds had a lovely nap in it in tesco last week!

Hello!

princessmel · 11/02/2008 10:55

Hi,
We have a M+P pliko too. From when ds was born. Its great but a bit bulky. I'm looking for quick, small and light.

I suppose I keep coming back to the Quinny. I'm not pg yet!!

It's worth bearing in mind that you can always sell on the zapp when you have a new baby and put the money towards a more suitable buggy - you only have to look on the wanted section of mn to see that peeps are always looking for zapps

the petite star zia is a good one too, same as xapp but reclines for a newborn.or an m&p luna?? both are around £100

princessmel · 11/02/2008 20:08

Hello, we got a Zapp.

It was last years colour (called capri- sort of turqoise) so was £50 off. Bargain.

I will use it for dd now then we have the M and P for when we have a newborn. Then when the new baby is older we can use the zapp again.

I love it. No bag though I think I saw some on ebay.

Oh and I loved the Luna loads. But dh thought it was not much smaller than our Pliko.
It was £150.

Zapp definately the best bet, i had a zia becaue it reclined but the zia doesnt take a buggy board but the zapp does.

P.S. Selling zapp if interested. Is black and come with raincover one month old.
