Yes I set up mine just last week and have already sold loads of stuff. It’s really easy to use and the site walks you through everything.
You take some photos of your item you want to sell, select from a menu what the item is, colour, size, brand etc and what price you want to sell it at. Select the size of parcel needed (goes by weight) and then you list item for sale.
The buyer pays the postage costs plus Vinted’s fees on top of your price so you aren’t out of pocket at all.
In your settings on the site you can choose which couriers you want to use and switch off those you don’t want to use (e.g I would switch off couriers that don’t have a drop off location near me).
When someone purchases your item you get a notification. It tells you which courier service they have chosen and you download the label, package up your item, print and attach your label and drop the package off at the courier drop off point (in my case it’s in my local SPAR garage, but the site will tell you what drop off points are near you).
You need to ship your item within 5 days of someone buying it or the order gets cancelled. When the buyer receives the package, they have 2 days to confirm everything is ok, then money is released to your Vinted account, which can be withdrawn to your bank account or used to purchase other items on the site. If the buyer doesn’t do anything after 2 days you still get your money.
