cheap webcams - waste of money or OK??

does anyone have either of them? or know anyhting about them? ie. are we wasting our money buying cheap?

we didn't pay a lot of money for ours a few years back - it depends too on the sound and video card you have in your pc.
I think we paid about £25 for a Creative one, and it's been fine
