Help...what do you use to keep your floors clean please. We have recently finished building an extension and with out budget we laid laminate flooring - our new dining room is great except the fact ;
*I have cats with muddy paws walking backwards and forwards through the french doors and no patio built yet!

  • I have an 8 year old boy
  • and a 6 year old (very messy) girl who has Down Syndrome.
  • A lovely husband putting skirting boards on and sawdust and plaster dust everywhere!

I always used to get down on my hands and knees after each mealtime but now our dining room is twice the size of the old one...and once the kitchen is done I will never manage...I am getting old now!

Please advise! I have been looking at this mop

I use a squigey sponge one that begins with 'v'...can't remember its name. When I had my last building work I just used to use those floor wipes and push those around with my mop. Its quicker.

Hang on ,Vileda Super Mop!!!!!

Maidamess · 09/02/2008 12:33

Quick thought for today...why are mops always 'Super'??

Nemoandthefishes · 09/02/2008 12:35

pmsl M obviously to make us think it is the best thing ever!!

Dingle · 09/02/2008 12:38

LOL...well I suppose it wouldn't sell very well if it was called a cr*p mop!!!

That JML one looks rather super though...might even get DH to clean the conservatory with it if I am lucky!
