Digital Camera recommendations please.

Just looking for basic digital camera. Not all singing and dancing, cheap and with fast shutter speed. Have DC who will not sit still for pictures. Can any one recommend something suitable please. Thanks.

I have just been reading a digital photo magazine and they tested 6 budget compacts. The winner was the Panasonic LS60 at £80. The Nikon Coolpix L11 came second.
Would also recommend you looking at Canon, maybe the A560.

Sony cybershots are brilliant

Mine also has a function where it takes 6 or 12 pictures in quick succesion, which is very handy for taking pictures of DC.

Most of them do have a burst function. Allows you to hold down the shutter button and take multiple shots.

just don't buy a Fuji Finepix. We have had two and they both died a death within a year, The first one packed up on the second day of our three week trip-of-a-lifetime to Australia. Curses.

Our new one is a Canon Digital IXUS 95015 which is possibly a bit spendy (about £200) but really excellent. My FIL says our child is the most photographed child since Shirley Temple.
