what about getting a swiss strolli thing? I've just bought one and its fab. much much better than a buggy board non of the hunching back or stretching out your arms or walking to sides
will find link

hana · 10/02/2008 20:36

Shhhh · 10/02/2008 20:43

good idea hana BUT I wouldn't feel secure walking around with dd on it....
With a buggyboard type thingy at least dd is in front of me and can't do a runner..well not easily . Would worry she would get off the strolli...

OP posts:
hana · 10/02/2008 20:45

they have to hold on so you'd notice if she got off to do a runner!
I've used a buggy board for years with dd1 and dd2 - quite glad to get rid of it now, lol

Shhhh · 10/02/2008 20:49

But knowing dd she wouldn't hold it....she has x2 trikes and we give up with them. She wants off after 2 mins.!

Wish I could bypass a buggyboard BUT think dd is getting to big for the double pram..

sazm · 10/02/2008 20:59

lol,i emailed them to ask if a buggyboard would fit my buggy (nurse hello) and they responded with yes it will fit your pushchair as it fits most on the market, even the quinny buzz!
it does say though that the reason they dont reccommend fitting it to a buzz is that the bit you have to fit it to says not to load over 5kg, so in time it wud prob have an effect on the frame strength

Shhhh · 10/02/2008 21:43

Thanks sazm......knowing my luck dd would be stood on it one day when the frame decided to give way . My luck..!!!!

Hi there! I'm still trying to find out whether it's possible and safe to fit a buggyboard to a quinny buzz. What's happened with yours Shhhh? Did you ever try with the buzz? Did it work in the end??

JingleyJen · 23/02/2008 23:30

take her out on a long walk when she is tired don't carry her tell her she can stand on the board.. she will do it.

sazm · 24/02/2008 13:26

it does fit on the buzz, but its not reccommended as the bit you fit it(on the frame) says not to load it over 5kg so in time it would prob cause structural probs in time,

nezelette · 26/02/2008 23:00

Yes, samz, you're right, this website also seems to say it's OK. It does fit but it's more that it might cause dammage over time.
I went to mothercare today though and they seemed to say that the toddler could not use it at all if the seat is facing you or fully relined, or even maybe with the car seat on. It seems quite limited!

jamas · 01/03/2008 18:57

Has anybody actually managed to safely fit and use a buggy board or similar on the quinny buzz yet?

Please help - it seems to be the only pushchair without the option.
