Buggyboard recommendations?

My twins are coming up to 2 and I am soooo fed up with my double buggies! Want to give a buggyboard a go but don't know where to start - can anyone recommend one? Is it worth getting one with a seat? The single buggy I have is a little Mothercare stroller so it would need to attach to this.

Thanks for any advice

I had a look at this site when I was finding out, seems useful.

Sorry I can't be more help but I haven't bought one yet, although the website stopped me buying one which wouldn't have fitted my single OR double buggy properly!

This site is uselful but only tells you about buggyboards....Im after something for the buzz which apparently the buggyboard doesn't suit..(Hmmm, im sure I read a while back it was..??)

So...................do anyone know of other boards available..?

glamourbadger · 08/02/2008 22:20

Thanks jellyrolly, I did look at this site but it only features one brand of board - presume there are lots of others? Can anyone else help with a recommendation? Just wondering if it is worth getting one with a seat? Cheers

the ones with the seat are harder work to push

I had a seat to go adn I found it really big, but DD did like it. Broke it going on teh bus though (too high a step up iyswim). And I now have hte standard buggy board (lascal). It's great and my 20 month old loves going on it (she goes in the buggy though, so need to put the bags etc in to balance it).

Good site is cheekyrascals.co.uk. And the staff on the helpline are great. If you buy one second hand, make sure there are attachments, as some are really old now, but you can't get the bits (even though people say you can on the eBay listing). If your kids are well behaved and don't run away, you will LOVE it. I am a bit worried about my DD2 running off when Baby 3 arrives, so am thinking of getting reins to put on her as a backup...

glamorbadger..that was the point I was trying to make..! I also want to know what out there...!!! I have seem a one wheel type on kiddicare but not sure if its for one brand of pram or if it can be used on others..???!!! anyone..?

Pannacotta · 08/02/2008 22:34

Here, as suggested by PotPourri, loads of good info
www.cheekyrascals.co.uk/?menuId=92

Shhhh · 08/02/2008 22:45

but again its only buggybaors/kiddybaords iykwim. None seem to fit the buzz although cheeky rascals say different..??!!!

Sigh............there should be a generic site that shows ALL kiddy/buggy boards available iykwim...

Many thanks for the useful link - think I have decided on the board I want.

Shhhh - been having a bit of a surf around and there are a few different makes here - might be worth investigating the various brands to see if they fit your buggy.

thanks gb, Im still looking..! Thought it would be something I would sort in 2 mins..obviously not .!

Just not to keen on the look of the lascals etc and thought there may be something different YET the lascals etc don't even come recommended for ours..

Will look at your link. Thanks again x

fingerwoman · 09/02/2008 20:05

i have a lascal kiddyboard for sale if anyone is interested?

Shhhh · 09/02/2008 21:42

Right, looked at lascal site and it now says its fits the buzz...not sure what site I looked at before...Ohhhh..im confussed..!

Fingerwoman, which model do you have, whats its look like, what condition and how much etc...

Nemoandthefishes · 09/02/2008 21:47

I have a seat 2 go on a small stroller for my 2.1yr old. It is harder to push as its a bit bigger however at her age it is good to use as she prefers to sit down when she is tired. I have just listed a brand new one on ebay cheaper than in shops as my mum got me 2 if your interested. mishi9123

fingerwoman · 09/02/2008 21:57

it's this one

but it is plain black. think it has kiddyboard written on it.
I got it second hand from ebay, but it's really in very good condition. you can see it's been used, and there are a few scratches, but nothing wrong with it

Shhhh · 10/02/2008 15:02

right, am i being stupid or what..?

I have gone to the buggyboard site to check which is compatable and for the quinny buzz it says no so I go to the "id section", click on kiddiboard, go into the same site via the maxi kiddibaord (said at top of page) and it says yes for a quinny buzz..arrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. FFS what am i doing wrong.?!

There is to many to see which fits my pram...?

Thanks nemo but think dd would prefer to stand on it....will keep yours in mind though..

niknakpw · 14/02/2008 14:40

To add to the confusion over which buggy board, has anyone tried the Litaf Pick Up?

I think it is an inproved seat to go, it looks good to me but i haven't been able to find any reviews on it.

Also all the ones on ebay say only used once or twice, wonder why?........

M2Alyssa · 20/05/2008 13:34

Hi there Shhh I too have a buzz. Did you manage to sort a buggy board as I am also looking for one and wondered if you had it all sussed out now.

Thanks.
