iCandy Pear

Has anyone got the Pear? I am really tempted by it because I need a buggy now for my 12 month old, so can use it as a single, then add the second seat when number two comes along in July.
It seems tough enough to go on walks as well as small enough to push around town shopping.
Drawbacks seem to be that it has to be split up into three pieces when you want to put it in the car, which seems a bit of a hassle if I want to go into town just for half an hour.
Any other problems? (apart from the expense )

We tried the icandy pear in our local shop and unfortunately DS1 (who was 17 months at the time) did not fit in the pushchair part - his head hit the hood part - he's not particularly big so we found it very strange. It is also very heavy (my SIL has the icandy apple which is the pear without the convertor and she thinks that is really heavy). I would definately try it in the shop before considering buying it.
