Kinda ambidextrous and neutral?

Not too expensive?

Thanks

Oh it's a nightmare - last year I really struggled - they are all gender specific aren't they? Got one in Boots in the end - will look for link in a mo. Or John Lewis have some?

SoupDragon · 06/02/2008 14:39

of expensive

SoupDragon · 06/02/2008 14:39

working link!

ChampagneSupernova · 06/02/2008 14:40

John lewis do blue gingham which I thought was a bit "bathroomy"

SoupDragon · 06/02/2008 14:41

Kiddicare have some

NorthernLurker · 06/02/2008 14:41

this is the one I have - sort of green and yellow - out of stock but I saw one on our Boots this week

this is nice

FAQ · 06/02/2008 14:42

god - why does anyone pay that much for a changing mat?

Or do I have only children/babies in the world that destroy their changing mats before they're even 8/9 months old???

fluffyanimal · 06/02/2008 14:42

I got a good one from Mothercare, it is simply cream coloured and has high sides to stop babies rolling off.

tassisssss · 06/02/2008 14:43

I like that stripy John Lewis one

mothercare have a nice brightly coloured checked one, Fun at the Zoo range

NorthernLurker · 06/02/2008 14:46

Is that the one that says 'Mummy loves her little Giraffe' though? I liked the design and I do of course love my little Giraffe - just wasn't sure I could look at the slogan every single day

StrangeTown · 06/02/2008 14:48

Asda have ones with purple, green and yellow dots. £5. Bargain.

nortynamechanger · 06/02/2008 14:49

I have one from GLTC, have just checked can't find any on there. It is by Lazzari and matches their fabric storage boxes with the leather handles.

Neutral with a leather handle on, expensive but have been using it for 3.5 years! It is not plastic so it doesn't split.

KatyMac · 06/02/2008 14:55

Asda sounds perfect

NorthernLurker · 06/02/2008 14:58

no

Pannacotta · 06/02/2008 14:59

I like my stripey John Lewis one and its big enough to change my 3 year old on - am hoping that I wont need to for much longer though

MightyMoosh · 06/02/2008 21:02

May seem weird.. but wilkinsons do a nice, neutral one!

KatyMac · 09/02/2008 18:42

KatyMac · 09/02/2008 23:07

They are all pink or blur or have cute cuddly animals on them ......yuk

Twinklemegan · 09/02/2008 23:09

I got a nice one from Boots a couple of years ago. It was green and purple with Heffalump on it from Winnie the Pooh. Really cute.

I would say getting a changing mat you quite like is pretty essential. There are few things you'll spend more time looking at than a changing mat.

KatyMac · 09/02/2008 23:11

Especially when I will have 9 under 2's

OP posts:
KatyMac · 09/02/2008 23:12

I like the boots one - I have had two of the green & yellow check for the last 2 years

But OFSTED are insisting that they be sprayed with anti-bac after every nappy & they have rotted

& now they are not in stock

yelnats · 09/02/2008 23:14
