...I dont drink wine and have no idea where to start

have looked at john lewis , sub=nday times and virgin but no nearer!!!

i would use waitrose....they have a very good wine buyer and keep their wines properly.

it would be good to get some idea of what they like? red or white? fruity or spicy if red? that kind of thing, is there a husband you could ask?

if not, a mixed case would be a great plan...i'd say go to majestic except that i've had too many corked wines from them and CD's dh reckons they keep their wines really badly...i'm inclined to agree...

i'll have a scootch round hang on...

i was looking at cases of 12 for £80

sunday times did introductory offer of about £40 ( normal prix £80) but as i said am no wine connoiseur and friend is!

I can second Laitwaites & tHe call centre girls/guys are VERY hepful & a lot of them are wine drinkers themselves so know their stuff.
