last year Clark's did fur lined wellies. Unless you specifically want them for skiing I wouldn't recommend proper snow boots as they are not waterproof and are bugger all use in anything except full-on snow and freezing temps. Lined wellies though are ideal - warm and waterproof

If you are looking for full on snow boots, 47 Degrees (3 shops in London) have some at £35/pair. Waterproof to shoe level and warm and cosy inside!

What size are his feet? \link{http://www.tchibo.co.uk/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/uk/-/GBP/TdUkDisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=J4-lMOOFTIGlMKI2Y_OvVOAQ9gGieE7kP-Y=?ProductID=0PsKZAOibIUAAAD%2e1mvQ3GqD&BackTo=Search\these from Tchibo} area only £12.99 but the smallest size is 13.5.

Have look at \link{http://www.snowandrock.com/shop/department/footwear/snow_boots\snow and rock}. Some of the sizes of the Cacoa ones are reduced to £11.48 and others from 14.99. dd had a pair of the Aigle ones a couple of years back and they should have been fine but it was her first winter walking in the snow and they made her clumsy and unsteady on snow. We usually buy Goretex for the kids (or this year Geotex),with velcro fasteners, and they are fully waterproof, breathable etc. However ours do get lots of wear and for occasional use they'd be rather pricey.
