just a nice plain unfussy stripe (ideally blue/white or green/white) cotton or poly-cotton, for a reasonable price (up to £20)

i've spent hours trawling

Have you tried Peacock Blue?

have you tried john lewis?

Are you accessible to London? Their store on oxford street has lots of seconds, although you can't tell they're seconds 99% of time..

I got plain white duvet cases and pillows with thin blue stripes from there and very nice they are too

Peacock Blue looks lovely, but doesn't seem to have a stripe

Yup, have tried JL. They used to stock a nice plain stripe in lots of colours, but the range seems to have been dropped

this is so hard!

is this too fussy myeye? is it for ds?

MyEye · 04/02/2008 18:37

thanks bundle, good try -- yes it is (for ds, I mean: I'm now getting rid of his cot [pathetic sobbing at lost baby days]). however i've given up on stripes and have gone for john lewis rocket and gltc farmyard.
Someone is missing a trick!
