Is it worth buying one and which is the best?

I used to make my own yogurt, but have never used a maker.

You can make it by simply buying some yogurt starter and put it in a carton of milk which you leave for a few hours in a slightly warm room. The length of time it takes to change into yogurt depends on the temperature.

When you have almost finished the carton, take some of the yogurt and add it to another carton of milk. The bacteria will change that into yogurt too.

You can continue the cycle indefinitely.

Thanks, I might try it by hand. Anyone else used a yoghurt maker?
