They look lovely but how sturdy are they.....I'm specifically looking at the kitchen stuff....but may be tempted by other bits & pieces.

I'm childminding and have 14 children each week - so it needs to be very hard wearing iyswim

In my experience, sturdy enough( have the push along trike), but lots of fiddly bits to get lost ( men in a boat and the multi layered trains). Good quality, but glad got them as presents - pricey

Thanks Mullgedwine....interesting
Anyone else?

I have the Rolling slope, not any kitchen stuff. It is well made and would take quite a lot of kid-action.

have a dolls house, abacus and had other stuff when DD was smaller (rolling car slope thing). Brilliant quality.

Hi. We have the Pintoy sink unit, washing machine and cooker. We bought them (new) off ebay about 6 months ago for a very reasonable price. They are the old style version and had been discontinued.
They are excellent quality and we are really pleased with them (and the children love them). The only slight drawback is that the doors can be quite hard to open for a child (you have to pull quite hard) but they seem to be getting better with time (either that or my children are developing super arm strength!)
Really recommend them - I see them lasting for years!

Thanks Cupcakes - I was hoping they had a very wide age range....bit worried about the doors - but maybe my dad could whittle them....

Has anyone else had them..

I suppose I better look on Ebay (I'm scared)

Hi we have heaps of wooden toys -cant remember which are pintoy. We also have plan toys and other makes
I will admit that we have heaps cos i collect them
DH hates toys with batteries and is determined that we avoid them as long as ds will allow - not much longer methinks!!!!!!!!!!
IMHO pintoy are good - cant remember what the kitchen stuff is like though
