I know pushchairs have been done to death probably but Im finding the above combination a bit of a nightmare. I need a lie flat that will fold without having to remove seat as I have two other children and a school run. We had a jane carrera but it doesnt lie flat and I cant do the whole carrycot business again. Is there anyone with say a Loola, who likes it and has a compatible child seat (O+) that fits in a Vauxhall Zafira (not isofix). Ive come up with Loola, Hauck and Silver cross 3d pushchairs but cant find any information on whether the car seats will seat belt (not isofix) into a Zafira. Most of the pushchairs seem to come from independent shops as well and I dont really want to mail order. WEre in south london. Please help!!! Thankyou.

Where do I start?

It has its plus points, it is well balanced so although pretty heavy is quite easy to carry and the brakes and wheel lock/swivel really easy to use. Plus I do love the fact that I could have ds facing me even when sitting up when he was older.

But

It is heavy
Wide
Doesn't really lie totally flat
Clumsy to push
Shopping basket totally blocked by huge metal cross
Rain cover really fiddly

When ds got old enough I got a lightweight stroller as soon as poss. I hardly used the loola really and got into slings instead. An excellent addiction

Have a look at the Bugaboo Bee. It lies flat, has a newborn insert-like a p&t cocoon-and the Maxi Cosi fits on it (with adaptors.) Folds up small and is nice to push even with a toddler in it, I tried it out the other day. It's pricey but worth it, wish they'd had it when DD was newborn.

Thank you Indith and JoyS. Im not sure about the bugaboos - Is the Bee the brand new one. I havent seen any yet. They do seem extremely expensive and I'll have to have a look in a shop. I certainly wont discount it. Do you have the maxi cosi in a vauxhall zafira, Joy?

Indith - those are really helpful comments about the loola. It would be great if you could test drive them beforehand wouldnt it?

No, we have a ford focus. You need a lot of seatbelt to get the maxi cosi in but mothercare or john lewis or similar should let you try one in your car before you buy. What dept stores do you have nearby?

We have a mothercare world fairly nearby. Otherwise only a smallish Halfords but could travel. Our additional problem re car seats is that we have two other children, 5 and 2 to fit in.

I have just got a loola and although I agree with the downsides, it is lovely to use when you don't have to fold and carry it! and the car seat does fit in a zafira, I have used it in my friends, and also our maxi cosi to!
