Does anyone know of a wooden highchair that has a feeding tray, harness and the bit that goes between baby's legs? I suspect it might not exist but any ideas please?

How about these

I have the folding east coast one. Tis pretty good, though the straps don't come off for cleaning.

Also there is this mumsnet review of high chairs

Have you looked at the svan highchair? Woodem=, choice of washable cushions, tray (with plastic cover too) and harness etc. Expensive though.

Can I only say get the best quality one you can and certainly a varnished one! Ours is a stripped wooden one & it's an absolute pita to keep clean.

I have the Svan chair and it is still going strong with Dd at nearly 3 years old. Converts to a "normal" chair when you want it to so worth the extra as lasts longer.

Thanks all. Think we might go for East Coast one. Really like Svan chair but don't want to spend too much although I might take another look. Didn't think about varnished or not - thanks Heated

If you are on a budget....here.

We got one the other week, and you can get an optional tray for it. It has the added advantage of being able to remove the leg guard bit to convert to a "high" chair for later on. They also do a cushion that fits nicely so little babies (DD is 8mo) are right at the front and can't slide down into it.

If not on a budget, then stokke tripp trapp are just fab!

we've got this one. also got the east coast one and it's loads more study.
