was thinking of getting one for ds but does it make it really difficult to get them into bed?

I know my sis has one for her eldest boy, and it is all fine. There is the initial excitement about it all, and plus he has to throw all of his teddies down the slide at the beginning of the night!

my niece has one and I don't think I have ever seen her actually go down the slide...

my ds has it. It was a novelty for about a week - now he NEVER uses it!

DD has one - originally came with curtains to make play house underneath, and kind of tower/tunnel/castle arrangement over the top. She loved it all when she was 4, rejected the castley bits at five, and still uses the slide when friends come round to play, but now says she wants a more grown-up bed. Space underneath is useful for storing all her stuff I haven't sneaked out to the charity shop yet soft toys.
