Travel cot - need separate mattress?

Hi - we're buying a Mothercare travel cot and just wondered whether it's worth buying a separate 'Sleepright® mattress with CoolMaxActive®' as well (extra £24). I would gladly part with the cash if it will mean a better night's sleep! thanks...

Hello, We have a mothercare travel cot and we bought the sleepright mattress (£24) from them aswell. Its quite small compared to the size of the cot but i think its worth it. Its handy to have aswell. Out travel cot stays at my mams. We're staying in a cottage at easter that has a travel cot but i am going to take our mattress. It folds up really small so its easy to transport.

that's a good idea - I hadn't thought of that. We're going on holiday soon and a travel cot will be provided but I guess it would be nice to use our own mattress just to know it's clean and hygienic! maybe I will get one then.... thanks SandyChick
