Can anyone recomment a cheap but efficient hoover please. For some reason my family go through hoovers like other people go through bin bags and I dont always buy cheap either. I have a dog and two small DC so it gets a lot of wear and tear. I am a bit poor at the moment so it needs to be CHEAP.

the tesco value one works for me.
I have a messt, moulting cat, 3 crumby DCs and a DH with moulting socks, plus my hair (post PG) is still falling out. It needs emptying after a mega hoovering session - reusable bag, but is efficient and cheap (can't remember how much exactly). I think we have had ours 12 months+ and DH has ony just cracked the handle tube, it still works fine. (my last two were more expensive models and were no better).
