Please help me find a coat for DS2 (1 yr) that is not boiling hot and padded but isn't wafer thin either

Just ordered this for ds. It is a bit padded though.

oh cute, I like that. It does say "lightly padded". DS has a thick one from mothercare that is actually lovely but really only for coldest weather and I can hardly wedge him in the car seat when he's got it on.
