I ordered two things from HOF back in September. I haven’t had an issue before and maybe only ever returned something once in all the time I have shopped with them. This time however due to limited product descriptions - both orders were unsuitable and so I decided to return. I hadn’t been provided with an invoice either. Unfortunately I couldn’t do a normal return through the portal; as it was down for days. I had to print off my own returns form and returns label per their instructions. I sent the parcels back via my local post office at exactly the same time with 2nd class signed for postage. They received back one item but not the other and now I am having to swallow the cost (£75) for the privilege. It’s taken weeks and weeks of trying to get through to anyone (someone who could read would have helped!). They didn’t read my emails properly; continually asked for proof and repeat information only to tell me finally - that return/posting is done at my own risk. They haven’t received one of my items. The message here is clear. Only shop with HOF if you are sure you are going to keep the goods. This is where “online” shopping fails abysmally. I miss shopping in store and dealing with “staff”. Obviously I will never shop with this company again.
