I'm thinking of downsizing and getting either this or the mothercare jive. The isis comes in a cute black with pink circles whereas the jive looks a bit tacky ATM but I don't know anyone who has owned an isis. Is it any good?

We have the older Isis with a stripy seat and it is absolutely brilliant - a lot of the cheaper strollers have seats which recline but they have fiddly straps to be unfastened and the like to get the seat back - this has a solid bar at each side and although you need both hands to recline it easily - you just lift the side bars and the seat reclines - it is perfect if your child falls asleep and you can recline it without waking them - it reclines fairly flat and any mum who has seen me recline it thinks it's great. To put the seat back up you just push the back up. We bought it to take on holiday when ds was 7 months old - he is now 2 and it's used a lot - it's light - sponges clean easily and, after the dogs abuse we've subjected it to, still looks in fairly good nick. The raincover / hood kit was free with ours and is easy enough to fit. The seat while fully upright is very upright which my ds seems to like - he was always leaning out of our other buggy. Hope this helps.
