I bought an item from Sahara. I was told that DPD would deliver it today. I have sat here all day next to the front door waiting. (I have been working on my laptop.....) I then get an email saying "Sorry we missed you". I have been invited to attend some collection centre. They didn't miss me. Nobody knocked on the door and nobody rang me. There is no card. I rang Sahara and they say that DPD has "nothing to do" with them. I suggested that they are contracted by Sahara and are therefore their agents. They said that there's no much they can do because "all delivery companies are the same and that there's a bit of a problem with some delivery drivers not bothering to knock on the door". Do we really have to put up with such a crap service? Can delivery companies get away with this so easily?
