IS there a washing liquid / stain remover that will get it out? I'me three weeks in with my DD1 and everything is getting stained despite soaking in vanish etc.

oh dear, what is it your clothes that are getting stained? Are breastpads not doing a good job?

Susiemj · 26/01/2008 13:40

Yes, my clothes. It's just the occasional posset or spurt going astray, but there are some things I just cannot get it out of. Including a breastfeeding top I have worn ONCE!

oh no! are they pale things or dark things? i don't remember having this problem, but maybe I was covered and just didn't notice

Dark things. One purple, one black.

yeah yeah I believe you

the only decent stain remover I have found is something called Astonish Oxy-gen

it is quite fierce and probably hugely unenvironmental but it did enable us to avoid chucking out quite a few of ds's clothes that were otherwise unwearable

Is it one you canbuy in the supermarket? Will have a look for it.

how odd .. I've never found bm (either direct or regurgitated) stains at all

try soaking your clothes? or vanish spray as pre-treatment?

Susiemj · 26/01/2008 19:36

tried both of those
