Ankle boots for girls

Can anyone help me find a pair of boots for dd (who is 3 and a size 7 1/2 to 8)? I saw these in M&S today which are ideal but they've got no elastic panel of anything so when they were zipped up dd was yelping as they were too tight!
anyone know of anything else similar? (clarkes was no good, and i don't really want anything calf-length).

we're in the midlands.
have looked in next - nothing really struck me there. thanks anyway

We've got these in dark red which are rather fabulous.

Do you have an independant childrens shoe shop in your neck of the woods. I live in Norwich and we have an excellent one, its more expensive but somehow one pair of shoes/boots seem to last for about a year.
The only other ones I can think of that might stock some are Debenhams, BHS or Adams.

Sorry just thought, do you have a Russell & Bromley near you or John Lewis (although JL sell Clarks they do other makes as well).
Good Luck x

Have you tried Brantanos or Deichmann ??
I love the shoes at Deichman but don't actually know of a loacal store now.

how wide are her feet?
dd2 has G fitting feet and have given up getting her boots this year.
Moomin · 29/11/2004 19:08
she's an f width but she has a high whatchamacallit - the top of her foot is high and sticky-outy. and if she was built like me at the moment i'd say it's no wonder the zips won't do up, but her legs are very slim!

Matallan have some great little dusty pink ones, (and they are the only ones i've tried that fit dd's legs comfortably)

Angeliz, do you mean the Ugg-style ones? I noticed those the last time I was in, they're lovely!
