boots

I have seen quit a few nice pairs of boots recently but they all seem to be suede ones atm.
I was asssuming that worn in the rain/snow they are likely to get ruined. Am i right? Saw a oair of rocket dog ones yesterday for £70 but bugger that if the rain ruins em co i'll be wearing them to walk ds1 and ds2 to school.

I have rocket dog suede boot s (and a dodgy spacebar key!) I have worn them in the rain a couple of times an d they seem to be ok. I wouldn't go jumping in any puddles though!

You can get spray-on protector for suede, but frankly suede just isn't suitable for wet weather imo.

i bought a size bigger than usu al, they did n't have my size in the shop. They fit ok though, could maybe do with being a tiny bit tighter but they're ok with sock s on.

I haven 't been in a taxi for AGES. are you allo wed to take babies in without carsea ts? I'm just very careful where I stan d.

good point beansmum. never done it myself but i think black cabs some of them have carseats in the boot. or if you have a pram and the cab is wheelchair friendly maybe they can use the straps for that? i would be interested to find out.

buy them! you'll find a way round it if you really like them and they fit well. this spray on stuff is quite good. I just saw a lovely pair of boots today (suede again!) for about £150 and can't stop thinking about them. I might just have to buy them. They're lovely and are flat. thank God flas are in again because it's a nightmare going out with high heels, a toddler and a bugy. see, have just convinced myself I need to buy them now! Will have to save up first though otherwise DH won't be too impressed.
