DD has been saving up for a digital camera. She's picked one out of the Argos catalogue (new catalogue, p 474, item 4) Hitachi DS-5061S 5MP. I know this is a long shot, but anyone got one or got any advice? OK, she likes it cos it's metallic pink, but we're trying to persuade her to save her pocket money/use leftover Christmas money for something decent, rather than the tat she usually buys. But I know this isn't very expensive for a camera, and would hate her to spend what is a huge amount of money to her and then be disappointed. It doesn't have optical zoom, anti-blur, or face detection, but then the disposable cameras she uses other times for holidays doesn't either. Do we let her buy one?
