I would like something that I can lay toys (cooker, etc) on top and all the bits underneath, so not a top-opening toy box.

Well we have this which is fine and serves its purpose but yours is much nicer!

Thanks - I think that looks like a good alternative...plus I ahve an argos, ooh, only 2 ferry rides away!!

we use this fromikea turned on it's side with plastic boxes in it.
