Now that gymboree has closed in the uk (boo hoo!) just wondering if anyone has bought anything from the US online? If so how much was the tax and duties (and how much did you spend?) Looked at the customs and excise website and it looks like VAT and 3.5% will be added? A scary amount!

Hi charlie01. Thought I'd link you to a recent conversation about this here .
I have bought from there and also their sister site, Janie and Jack, without any hitches. It came really fast and seemed to arrive via Germany which may be why there were no taxes. hth!

Oh, and it's really good value as the exchange rate is so good. Goods up to $100 only cost $10 to ship (if I recall correctly!)
