IKEA storage boxes

Bit boring, sorry! Has anyone experienced Drona Ikea storage boxes, the material ones that fit into the Kallax cube frames? I need some cheap storage quickly, and was about to order a load of black Drona storage boxes, when I suddenly remembered seeing something somewhere about them smelling awful. I hate things with really strong smells. Is it just the black ones that might smell? Is it all of the colours? Anyone have these Drona storage boxes please?

I have the same problem, just don't know what too do about it!!! I tried frebreeze but the smell came back the next day.... thinking of complaining too ikea?

Oh no, I haven't unwrapped mine yet, but have bought loads of them. It was an old post where someone had said they smelled, hence I was reluctant to buy them but hoped that Ikea might have changed the material by now. I shall unwrap and sniff them. What colour are yours? Wondering if different colours smell worse. How long have you been waiting for the smell to go away? It might go away with time, do you think?
