Boots child development programme thing

Saw this reduced to £10 the other day and wondered if anyone had it and whether it was any good - couldn't look in it to see what it consists of. Thanks

I got one months ago in the sale. It has a folder with things to do with your child, a DVD which I haven't looked at, and lots of 'fun' plastic shapes that actually make nice patterns when put together. it also contains a felt 'ladder' for hopping games? not sure what, and a toy turtle (soft toy) for I don't know what, and some odd bits and bobs.
We haven't read the instructions butit looks very much like something a pushy parent would use to 'educate' their preschooler. I think it was a waste of money myself, but some might like it!
