glue - a little dull I know but please help

My poor old mum has broken my favorite wedding present. It's a china sugar bowl and the little egg-shaped knob has come off. It's in one piece and I just wondered if anyone could recommend a glue to mend it. Thank you

Araldite, dont use too much or it'll squish out the edges

It's a pack with two tubes that you mix together. I think they do different types for differnt materials now. Be very careful not to muddle the lids up or get contents of one tube onto the other as the lids will stick and you'll never get them off again!
