Hi, one of my hairdressers had one of these and the result was no better than a good hairdryer. Good products used properly will protect your hair.
No hairdryer will improve the quality of your hair. Overheating, hot hairdryer will damage hair. Hair salons use protective coating for hair. I can highly recommend Parlux brand used by professional hairdressers. It has heat settings to cool and ionic air option which feels like fresh air.

I got one a few months ago. I thought it would "change my life" (haha dramatic) and it IS good but... is it £500 good? Not sure.. but I am glad I have it.

I have super super thick and coarse hair which takes an eternity to dry and I found it way too difficult /tiring to dry with a normal hairdryer and brush to try and get it "smooth" and non frizzy. The Dyson makes it super easy to do that using the hard brush attachment, I just brush through my hair and it dries it very easy and looks way silkier than I can usually get it. I used to have to go over it with hair straighteners to make it smooth and presentable but now I don't really have to bother as it looks good enough just on its own.

I use the other attachments occasionally. The curling ones I thought I'd get way more use out of but I have such thick hair that to do it properly it would take way longer than curling with a straightener. For thin and normal hair I reckon it'd be great though.
