Please help me oh wise mumsnetters I bought a Baba sling and I can't use it!!!!

I have bought a baba sling and for the life of me I cannot use it, DD looks awkward in it, although she seems to like it. Does anyone have one that can talk me through it. I have been on the website and tried following the instructions, but try as I might I can't get it right!!

Yes thats it fio, she does look squashed. DD is 8 and a half weeks old.
I'm going away for the weekend tomorrow and wanted to take the sling and not the pram, as I think it would be easier and save loads of space.

I'm really looking forward to having mine in a sling when she comes out!

Sorry. Came over all soppy then. Can't think of anything more constuctive as my sling looks very confusing.

Thanks Fio, think I'll get packed and practice putting her in and out of the sling all day , and maybe even try a bit of BF with it as well.

Ellie, they do look so confusing don't they, even worse when the lady doing the step by step instructions makes it look soooo easy.

Hi Fio, thanks for asking, I managed to get DD in the sling when we went away, she seemed to really like it and promptly fell asleep while we were out and about.
It's still a bit of trial and error as after a while my back started to ache so I don't think I had it on correctly. I'm gonna persevere though as DD likes the sling.
