They were very hard to come by at Christmas. We eventually got one fr our nephew and had to track one down, last in shop . Try the Entertainer (thetoyshop.com).

In stock in my local Argos.
Keep trying them. I think they keep stock low with the new catalogue coming out.

I am going into town Saturday, i think, so could probably pick one up for you and post it if you get desperate.

Heathcliffscathy · 17/01/2008 22:54

Glad you got one but sorry it is more expensive - that's a shame.

A friend of mine has a January birthday DD and since she was about 4 she has always bought her birthday presents before Xmas as she can guarantee that she won't be able to get them in January.

cornsilk · 18/01/2008 06:44

Play.com have some light up ones for about 30ish.

psychomum5 · 18/01/2008 07:29

I got mine in asda (before xmas tho). have you tried them?

just as a 'be careful' precaution tho, for when you eventually find one.....please advise you son NOT to look into the saber end while pressing the button.

My friends son did when he and my son were playing.......the light saber hit him smack above the eye and he was bruised for weeks.

my friend (his mum), and I laughed rather too much,(was like something out of a comedy), but please warn him!!!!

hope you find one
