I can't surely be the only one to find this extremely annoying. Sainsburys seems to be the worst offender. You can't blame the assistants as they do what they're told from Head Office. Shopping for food in a supermarket is a chore, not something you browse like shopping for clothes maybe. You know where things are, you think, and you just want to grab what you want and get it over with. So irritating when what you want is not there any more and you have to ask an assistant where it's been moved to. Makes me want to scream. I think people in Head Office have been to college and learned a marketing theory that if things are moved around people have to look and they may discover new things. WRONG! WRONG! It makes me want to go home. It possibly may be a good theory in a clothes shop but not in a supermarket.
Does anybody actually enjoy things being continually moved in a supermarket?
