Boots MagLock - anyone successfully got it to work?

don't know if our door is too thick (solid wood), but we can't get the lock to open.

it takes a bit of practice! wiggle the magnet around a bit- you have to get it at just the right place! i waft the magnet around until i hear the click- its getting easier by the day!
