Lego Star Wars 2

Ds was given the Lego Star Wars 2 game for the PC for Christmas.
He's finding it very frustrating that he can't get beyond an early point in the game and as a complete computer games dunce I can't offer any help!
Can anyone give us some tips please? Ds gets to the point where he ahs R2D2, C3PO and Cpt Attilles in a room with a crane. Across the room is a door which needs to be opened by C3PO - how do we get to it? What do we do with the crane?...

Try googling 'walkthrough' and then the name of the game. You should be able to get some answers there.

Cpt Attilles jumps in the crane and picks up C3PO with the crane and deposits him on the far side of the gap. C3PO unlocks the panel and then a bridge appears to let R2D2 and Cpt Attilles cross.

[Sigh]. I think I might have to go and get a job....
