Mothercare do a short length in trousers. And next do Petite maternity online.

thanks. shall introduce her to mnet tomorrow whilst we compile her risk assessment and share your ideas.

I'm 5ft and pregnant!

I've got stuff from Funmum.com.

Blooming Marvellous and Jojomamanbebe do some of their jeans in short lengths. I've just got a pair of under bump ones in the BM sale.

Next do short lengths, but very few shops stock maternity now - it's mainly in the Directory.

I've found a small company called "Mini Mum" which have a limited petite maternity range, but might be worth a look.

A few of the designer brands do petite fittings - like Noppies, but they're hard to come by.

I also bought a belly belt which expands your ordinary trousers. I've found a belly band (like a boob tube but for round your middle) has also let me carry on wearing my normal trousers with ordinary tops.

Marks and Spencers do short lengths.

Otherwise a search in Ebay will bring up loads - some new.

I'm 5 foot 1 and I found Dorothy Perkins short maternity jeans were fab! Better than Next and Blooming Marvellous in terms of how they looked- the Next ones fell down.

However the other trousers from Next and BM were good.

I would recommend visiting a Next outlet store - they have loads of maternity clothes dead cheap and the petite sizes tend to be hanging around, or they were near me anyway.

thanks guys. she maybe lurking but will pass on the good tips.

hobnob - we have a huge next clearance store in the centre of town, so that looks promising.

I just wish I was a lot shorter - with a 36in inside leg I lived with one pair of jeans and one pair of black trousers from long tall sally during my pregnancies.

I think Formes are quite trendy. Sizes start at european 36 which is... googles for conversion - flipping heck, size 6!!!!!
I was actually given some spring/summery formes clothes by my petite neighbour, although even pre-pregnancy they would have been waaaaay too small, and you've just prompted me to put them on the for sale board as they're just sitting at the back of my wardrobe - thanks!

Vicky - if you've got Formes stuff you'll get a better price on Ebay - it's really, really pricey designer stuff and you could make a nice bit of cash tbh
