Lily Pollen
If dry try and vacuum clean off excess. If wet soak up with a dry cloth. Professional cleaning can often remove any residue but don't attempt cleaning the stain yourself with detergents.

I posted this about a month ago, but my lily stains were soaked in as the vase collapsed. I had profesisonal cleaning done and it didn't shift. I covered it with a spare bit of similar carpet ( I couldn't stand looking at it) and I was just about to find out about the insurance and getting another one, when I lifted the spare carpet and the stain had completely disappeared. I have no idea why or how. It was about 2 weeks after I had it cleaned. Maybe it just took a really long time to work????? Most bizarre. So I guess if you have to have it cleaned, don't panic if it doesn't work at first!

A friend of mine couldn't get the lily stains out of her carpet and so claimed on the insurance. They paid up for a new carpet with no fuss but before she had the chance to get a new one the stains disappeared! Very Mulder and Scully
