Birthday gift ideas for 85 yo disabled man

Wasn’t sure where to post this! My great uncle who is more like a grandad to me is 85 in a couple of weeks. I have no idea what to buy him (neither does anyone else!). He’s disabled, doesn’t drink and can’t indulge in his old hobbies (golf & cricket) due to his mobility. He can’t eat sweet stuff due to diabetes and doesn’t like diabetic choc. He still has the toiletries left from Christmas so that’s out as well.

He just says he doesn’t need anything but I want to get him SOMETHING.

Any ideas?

a trip out somewhere? Even if it’s just for a picnic or a pub lunch.

honestly, I’m half his age and I don’t need presents, I’d rather do something than have someone spend money on something I don’t need. Unless it’s a plant for my garden, or a bag of compost -but I can’t see your uncle wanting that!
