what kind of chou chou is it you are thinking about? dd has a mummy make me better and she loved it at first until she totally malfunctioned and mummy couldnt make her better! we exchanged it and other one works fine but i wasnt overly impressed with it, its legs are at funny angle, and the little bruise takes ages to go away then comes back straight away. i dont know about the other models though, the one with the little book looks quite good

Little hasty the other day when i said it wasn't worth the money. After having a play with her myself to find out what she says i found her rather cute.
Put on her bib and she "Mummy I'm thirsty."
Give her her bottle she makes slurping noises. When you stop feeding her she says "mmmmmm yummy" then she hiccups.
Remove her bib and she says "Are we going to play now?"
Put on her jacket she says "That's cosy."
Give her the teddy she says "Mummy that's my favourite toy."
Stroke her cheek she says "Mummy I love you." or "You are the best mum in the world."
When not doing any of the above she says one of several phrases at random from the following: "Tell me a story."
"I'm cold, can you put on my jacket?"
"Mummy, I'm bored."
"Let's play."
"Can you sing me a song?"
"What are we doing today?"
She may ask "Can I have my bear?" and when you give her it she says "Hello little bear." she may then say"Where have you been?"
She's quite good actually for £24.99.We also bought the giraffe carry sling for £12.99 and when you sit her in that she says "Yipeee. Are we going to the playground?"
And yes, when she speaks she is very clear.
Hope this helps and i'm sure DD will love her.
