What washing detergent do you swear by?

I've recently bought some pods from Aldi, however my clothes aren't coming out clean.

What is the best powder to use? I've looked online and it seems Persil, Ariel & Surf are the most popular.

Which detergent do you swear by and with what liquid?

Persil non-bio mixed with the white comfort (or similar own brand white one)

I only bought these when I was pregnant as I read that was best to wash baby items with and I never went back to anything else as love the ‘laundry’ smell 😂
