Is Roman clothing any good?

I keep seeing adverts for Roman clothing. It also seems to be a UK based firm however doesn't say where the clothes are made. I'm tempted to by some clothes from Roman but something is holding me back. Does anyone have any experience of their clothing and customer service,

No experience of them, and although they have Ethics & Anti-Slavery slavery statements, as soon as they market themselves as affordable fashion, that spells exploitation to me - and that they don't clearly state where their clothing is manufactured, I imagine they're made in some sweatshop in the Far East or Leicester! Probably their clothes are standard fare, but I could never buy anything knowing some poor soul somewhere has been exploited to clothe me.

I love Roman. It's one of my favourite shops. I got some amazing tops and dresses from them. If you sign up to emails they often do discount codes. Might be worth having a look where your closest store is. All my favourite things have been from Roman but haven't been impressed with the fit of things I've tried on lately. They also don't refund money in store, you can only get store credit. The quality is fine. I usually hold out for sales and discount codes though.
