I would but that doesn't mean you can IYSWIM .If I think it needs it I'll wash things regardless of what the label says! I have washed things that "crinkle" and they've been fine afterwards.

I've washed 2 large playmats that have said 'sponge clean only',aswell as many crinkly/rattly toys and they've all been fine.

I have washed a 'crinkly' and 'squeaky' playmat and it was fine
said sponge clean only too

Me too- on a gentle wool wash with some non-bio they come out fine even the squeaks after they dry out!!

i've done it
