Please tell me what dishwasher you have and whether you'd recommend it, I know it's boring but I'd be v grateful

We have a crappy Hotpoint Aquarius DW60 that has broken down loads and so we need to replace it. We bought it about 2 years ago without doing any research and so are trying to learn from our mistake and get a better one that will a) work, consistently b) last a good few years c) has a fast cycle

So, please, tell me about your dishwasher. Dh has done some internet research and the Siemens one here comes out well, any experience? Good or not?

It's supposed to be for my birthday (24th feb) but it's coming on Tuesday, do you think I can resist using it till I'm allowed?

Just coming back to update this thread and say THANK YOU for the Miele recommendation, it's fantastic and I love it. Very quiet, loads of room and gets my glasses and cutlery really sparkling. Thanks.
