I would probably need at least an age 4. TIA.

Come on you wise people. Someone must know where I can get them from.

What do you mean by shoe covers ? Stirrups or boots . Little Trekkers ?

NAB3wishesfor2008 · 11/01/2008 18:02

I just want something that when I pull the trousers up there are like bootie type things to protect his shoes too.

Muddy Puddles

Although I don't understand why you'd want shoe protectors in that kind of size... that's what Wellies are for.

NAB3wishesfor2008 · 11/01/2008 18:07

It is more to have in the car for unexpected rain showers. Plus he isn't keen on wearing wellies. DS2 is actually only 2 but very tall.

Thanks for the link, will look now.

They do "thermal bootees" which are pull on fabric boots but they're only 9-18 months.

Their puddlepac trousers and jackets are great value though. DSs have had them in various sizes.

NAB3wishesfor2008 · 11/01/2008 18:12

I can only find trousers atm, none with shoe covers.

There are only footless things but they had extra boots which are, unfortunately too small.

I think you may struggle to find any with fabric boots in that size because a 4 year old would be running about, and they'd slip/wear the fabric out.

It is just to wear while he is the buggy as he hates the raincover.

What I want is something like a waterproof baby grow! But just the trousers. (he has several raincoats.)

You might be able to get small gaiters but they're designed to go over walking boots.

LIZS · 11/01/2008 18:23

ah there are some on Little Trekkers - Vaude iirc - but only up to age 3-4

SoupDragon · 11/01/2008 18:25

If you buy them in a much bigger size, the legs will pull right down over his feet.

SoupDragon · 11/01/2008 18:26

Someone needs to make a truly waterproof Buggysnuggle. I don't think many children like the rain cover on buggies!

NAB3wishesfor2008 · 11/01/2008 18:45

Lizs They look just right but are quite £££ so I will have to measure him in the morning to see if they will be long enough.

I have seen before something from Mothercare that was something you put in the buggy and wrapped round the child. Maybe that would suit me better.
